Considered Creative

Book covers, websites and social media campaigns

Over the years we have worked with a variety of different authors to help them promote themselves and their work. From book covers to websites and social media campaigns, we’ve helped many writers on the way to success.

Andy Riley

This project was an absolute joy to work on. Short of being massive fans of Andy’s work, he’s also a thoroughly nice bloke to work with.

Andy needed a presence that was more commercially driven than his previous website. We added functionality to his blog making it easier for him to add links to YouTube and Amazon. We also created areas on each page that link through to his gift shop, iPhone app and Twitter account.

Considered did a lovely job on my website, which I am very happy with. It’s very easy to update even for an idiot like me. Thanks! Andy Riley

Chris Simms

We were approached by acclaimed crime writer Chris Simms to design a new set of high-resolution book covers for his self-published Kindle and paperback titles.

Through image manipulation, photography and graphic design we have created a suite of covers which create a consistent feel throughout the series of novels, the set has a dark and atmospheric feel with simple, sophisticated typography.

Since designing a suite of book covers for Chris Simms Spicer series a few years ago, focus has shifted away from on-shelf purchasing to Kindle and e-books. To optimise the covers for conversion within the Amazon Kindle store, we have re-designed them with more striking and readable text on the cover whilst maintaining their distinctive style. They work well as a set and help to cross-promote each other.

Time and again Considered Creative demonstrate that rare ability: going beyond the brief. I’m always thrilled by their high quality, refreshingly perceptive work. An agency that truly lives up to its name! Chris Simms

After working with author Chris Simms on a series of covers for his recent self-published novels and stories, he approached us to create a new website which captured the dark nature of his work and complemented the look and feel of his book covers.

Chris is able to keep the site updated himself via a WordPress CMS, and it is fully responsive and mobile-friendly.

Priscilla Masters

Priscilla contacted us on the back of work we had done for the CWA (Crime Writers’ Association) and other crime authors.

After helping her to maintain her existing website, it was clear that it could work a lot herder to promote her work both visually and from an SEO perspective.

Her new website is responsive for mobile devices, optimised for SEO and more visually engaging.
