When we present creative work for a client, we always like to provide a couple of options. This process helps everyone involved to collaborate and find the best solution to the brief. Flipbook had already had their stationery and business cards printed so we wanted to create a site design which integrated with this existing style but also moved the brand forward to show off the work in an intuitive and creative way.

video compatability

When we developed the site iPads had just emerged on the scene and, like their smaller iPhone cousins, didn't support Flash content. We wanted to take advantage of Flash's fast-streaming FLV format where possible but also ensure that iPad and iPhone users weren't excluded. The solution was to detect the user's operating system and then deliver the correct media to the user.
